WPP is reportedly preparing to cut up to 1,000 more jobs by year-end as part of an accelerated restructuring plan. The company is also expected to sell non-core businesses and additional properties.

WPP is planning to eliminate up to 1,000 additional jobs by the end of 2026, according to a Financial Times report cited by Reuters.

The British advertising group is accelerating its restructuring efforts under new chief executive Cindy Rose. The plan is also expected to involve the disposal of non-core businesses and additional properties.

The Financial Times reported the planned job reductions based on information from people familiar with the matter. Reuters said it could not immediately independently verify the report.
