Paychex Launches WISE Hire to Accelerate AI-Powered Recruiting

Paychex has introduced WISE Hire, an AI-native recruiting solution designed to help businesses identify and hire qualified candidates faster. The company says the solution can help businesses complete hiring processes four times faster on average. WISE Hire can operate as a standalone product or be integrated with Paychex’s HCM platforms.

The solution combines AI agents designed for candidate sourcing, recruiting workflows and hiring guidance. It is built to automate routine activities while maintaining human oversight and giving employers control over final hiring decisions.

According to Paychex, recruiting and attracting talent remain major challenges for businesses, with business leaders spending more than one-third of their time on administrative hiring activities.

WISE Hire expands Paychex’s WISE AI engine by adding recruiting workflow automation, candidate matching support and hiring expertise. The technology is designed to assist with tasks including candidate sourcing, screening, coordination and scheduling.

The solution also connects with candidate acquisition channels including Google for Jobs, Meta’s local jobs marketplace and ChatGPT to broaden sourcing opportunities. Employers remain responsible for assessing candidates and making hiring decisions, with human involvement maintained throughout the recruiting process.

WISE Hire is available both as an integrated solution across Paychex’s HCM platforms and as a standalone offering. Paychex says the technology is intended to help businesses attract, screen and engage candidates more efficiently while combining AI automation with human expertise.
